The exact policy for your dates is also shown before you pay and in your confirmation email. Security deposit (bookings made on this site). A $500 refundable security deposit is held for damages. It's authorized on your card 2 days before check-in and released 2 days after checkout, unless there's damage. Rent both houses: sleeps 17 Pura Playa and Pura Sol are sister homes side by side on the same quiet street. Each has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, its own private pool (heated free November–April), a BBQ area, and a 6-seat golf cart. Book both and your group gets room for 17 (8 at Playa + 9 at Sol), 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 pools, 2 golf carts, and parking for 4 cars, with everyone next door instead of across town. Great for family reunions, wedding parties (lodging only; no events at the houses), fishing crews (small boats under 19 ft can park out front), and church or company retreats. How to book both: check your dates on both houses below. If both are open, send us a note and we'll send one combined quote. Frequently asked questions Is the pool heated? Yes. It's heated free November through April, and you set the temperature. May–October, heat is available for $50 per night. Are dogs allowed? Yes! Up to 4 dogs, $100 per pet. Keep them off beds and furniture, and crate them if you leave them alone in the house. How many people can stay? Pura Playa sleeps 8 (the 8th on the couch). Pura Sol sleeps 9. Rent both, side by side, for 17. What are the beds? Playa: queen, queen, bunk bed with trundle, and the living-room couch. Sol: king, queen, 4 bunk beds, and a pull-out couch. Is a golf cart included? Yes. Each house has its own 6-passenger cart. Drivers must be licensed, insured, and 25+, and follow Port Aransas golf cart laws. How far is the beach? About 5 minutes by golf cart (or a short walk). Groceries, shops, and restaurants are about 5 minutes too. What beach gear is there? Beach chairs, an umbrella or canopy, a wagon, a cooler, and sand toys. No beach towels, so please bring your own. You're welcome to bring your own gear too. Where do we park? Can we bring a boat? 2 cars per house. A small boat (under 19 ft) can park in front of the house. Longer boats can park along Station Street or in Port Aransas public parking. We're coming to fish. Where do we clean our catch? At the harbor's free 24/7 fish-cleaning station. No cleaning fish or storing bait at the house, please. What are check-in and check-out times? Check-in 4 pm, check-out 11 am, with self check-in by keypad. Is there Wi-Fi and TV? Yes: 200 Mbps Wi-Fi, plus YouTube TV and Roku. Are linens and towels provided? Bed linens, bath towels, and basics (soap, shampoo, toilet paper) are provided. Beach towels are not. Can we rent both houses? Yes! Check your dates on both pages. If both are open, message us for one combined quote. Do you allow long stays / Winter Texans? Yes, stays of 28+ nights are welcome, and the pool is heated free all winter. Message us for a quote. Are parties or events allowed? No. The homes are for overnight guests only. What's the cancellation policy? Full refund if you cancel 30 or more days before check-in. No refund after that. What taxes are included? Your checkout total includes Port Aransas city hotel tax (9%) and Texas state hotel tax (6%). Why book here? You're booking directly with us, the owners.
